Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) and the Bushfire and Natural Hazards Cooperative Research
Centre (CRC) are interested in funding a PhD Scholarship to explore the development of resilience in
communities and community members. The Joint Centre for Disaster Research at Massey University
has been identified as a research group able to support a PhD research project to: Understand how
fire agencies can best sponsor and support the development of resilience in communities and
community members.
