Dear Ganapaty,
Quickbird (with 0.6 meter resolution) alongwith Field-observations may be a good choice. I would like to know, which city in India, are you trying to do exposure development for earthquake risk assessment.

Dear Mr. Ganapathy,
If only the model were already available.. it will however take time to develop GEM. As you can read on the GEM website, we aim to have a first version available by the end of 2013. Please read the website or the GEM booklet for more insight (download it here http://www.globalquakemodel.org/node/408). Also via the website you can subscribe yourself to the bi-monthly newsletter and be kept up to date on GEM developments.

Hello Dr. Ganapathy, open-source modelling is at the heart of the GEM model, so please find more information on the GEM website: www.globalquakemodel.org. At the moment the GEM1 project - that is laying the basis for the GEM computational infrastructure - is coming to an end. In May / June a lot of information will become available on the website; including technical reports.
