Marc Neilson is a consultant with the World Bank Disaster Risk Management Team under the Africa Water Resource Management Sector. Marc has spent 11 years working on Disaster Risk Management related issues in Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia, especially as they relate to food security. His specialties are communications on a shoe-string budget, disaster risk management and donor relations. Marc is currently working on the Horn of Africa and Sahel communication strategies and helping to expand and consolidate the Africa Natural Disaster Management Information Management System for the World Bank.
